In the mist of globalisation and dystopian future, countries became borderless. May-Lee is an immigrant, she settled down in the city of Xenopholis. As an immigrant, she can relate to outsiders really well, and because she is an older woman, she has the tendency to care for others more than herself. May-Lee is a selfless woman, she opens a motel upon arrival in Ataxia, but she does not earn much money.
May-Lee end up helping refuges who escape to this part of town find shelter. Sometimes she even let them stay in her motel. May-Lee knows she is breaking the law by helping people, but she empathises for these people who has nowhere to go.

May-Lee is inspired by the oracle in the Matrix movies. She is a wise lady who hopes for a better world, her intensions are always good, but her actions usually have negative consequences on herself. Will May-Lee be able to help shelter these people well, or will her good deeds cause her life?
